Welcome to the Vietnamese Community of MNThe Vietnamese Community of Minnesota proudly announces the 2012 Vietnamese Tet New Year Festival – The Year of the Dragon on Saturday, January 21, 2012, from 10:00A.M. - 4:00P.M. at Kennedy High School, 9701 Nicollet Ave, Bloomington, MN 55420. The event is free and open to the public!
The Tet New Year is the most important and highly celebrated cultural holiday of the Vietnamese people around the world. It is the largest annual Vietnamese community event in Minnesota and regularly draws thousands of people to celebrate a day of food, entertainment, fashion, children’s activities, and dancing.
The Vietnamese Community of Minnesota cordially invites the public especially the Vietnamese people across Minnesota and the surrounding states to celebrate the Vietnamese Tet New Year Festival with us!

All guests who wear traditional Vietnamese dress will be given entry into a special drawing for 50 individual gifts.
Evening program includes:
6:00-7:00 PM : Reception Hour.
7:00-8:30 PM : New Year Celebration Dinner.
Formal Table Dinner, Guest can reserve full tables of 10 people in advance
7:30-9:00 PM : Vietnamese Long Dress Presentation and Gift Awards
9:00-12:00 AM: Formal Ball
